“What was my favorite set?”

After returning from his 5th (or maybe 6th) Coachella, our founder Jake found himself reliving the weekend with friends during Weekend 2 “CouchChella.” As they compared favorite performances, he realized how hard it was to remember every artist, every moment, and every set that had made the weekend as a whole…unforgettable. That sparked an idea.

Jake built the first version of SoundOff to log the sets he saw — with photos, ratings, and a way to rank them against each other. What started as a personal tool grew into something bigger.
