What is SoundOff?

SoundOff is a live music diary. It’s a place to log the sets you’ve experienced, including media such as images, videos, and audio clips, tag friends, rank sets relive your favorite performances, and discover new music through recommendations based on the global community.

Why did you create SoundOff?

The idea started after Coachella, when our founder realized how hard it was to remember all the sets he saw, which ones were his favorites, and the memories tied to them. SoundOff was built to capture those experiences and make them easy to share.

What kinds of music can I log?

You can log concerts, festival, and DJ sets you’ve attended in person - and also the sets you’ve experienced online, from SoundCloud, Mixcloud, or YouTube. If it moved you, it belongs in SoundOff. Set not available? Use the manual feature and get it loaded into our system for others to log as well.

How does ranking work?

After logging a set, SoundOff uses a ranking system to compare your experiences. You’ll get fun head-to-head matchups that help you decide which sets stand out most. Your selections are personal to you and help deliver an ultimate ranking list from best to worst.

Can I add photos, videos, or audio?

Yes! You can upload media alongside your logged sets, making SoundOff a complete memory bank of your music journey.

Is SoundOff just for festivals like Coachella?

Not at all. SoundOff has grown far beyond one festival - you can use it for concerts, clubs, livestreams, or any music experience you want to remember.

Is SoundOff social?

SoundOff IS social, but it is not a social media platform. You can share your your logged sets with friends when you tag them in the set or via unique URLs. You can also see what the wider SoundOff community is listening to and loving. But do not expect to like or comment on posts. Would you want someone commenting on your daily journal? Probably not, and neither do we. This is a place for you and your thoughts and memories.

How much does SoundOff cost?

SoundOff is free to use. We’re focused on building the best possible experience for music fans everywhere.
